Maddie, BISS multi CH. Leilani’s That That Is, IS - is truly all that and more!

Maddie earned all of her championship points from the Bred By Exhibitor Class.  At 6 months of age she was winning Best of Breed over her sire or Best Opposite to him.

Maddie finished 2007 ranked #2 (breeder, owner, handled).  This qualified her for the Eukanuba Classic in December ’07.  The judge was Mrs. L. Krukar, also a breeder handler of Dobermans and German Pinschers.  She awarded Maddie Best of Breed Bred By Exhibitor as well as Best of Opposite to Best of Breed.

At 22 months Maddie is now gaining the attention of the judges in the Group Ring.  After having been pulled out to make the cut in several Groups she has now made her mark.  Judge Paula Hartinger awards Maddie a Group 4 in Texarkana!  In her first 64 shows Maddie was awarded 59 Best of Breeds, 3 Best of Opposites, and 4 Group Placements.

She continued to take the ring by storm winning the breed at the German Pinscher National Specialty in 2009 under Judge Edd Biven.  Some of Maddie’s  many other accolades include:  BOS at the Nationals 2008; BOB & BBE Eukanuba Classic 2010; BOS Westminster 2009.  Maddie continued to win breeds and group placements in her 3 years as a show girl.   July 15, 2008  Maddie IS THE #1 GERMAN PINSCHER!!!! Her #1 status remained through 2009, and 2010.

Maddie has received an invitation to the Westminster Kennel Club, Eukanuba Classic Invitational (3 years in a row) as well as earning an invitation to Crufts 2008 AND 2009!  She has gladly retired her show lead to become my personal service dog.

In 2014, Maddie was brought out of retirement to attend the German Pinscher Club of America's National Specialty events held in Belton, Texas.  True to her form she wins multiple Best of Breeds.  Maddie is the first female GP to win the GPCA National Specialty.  She is also the first female to win the AKC Working Group!  Her wins do not stop there - Maddie goes on to be the first German Pinscher to be awarded an AKC Reserve Best In Show!  Our most reveled wins by Maddie are her FOUR BEST IN SHOWS awarded earlier in the year!!
